Farah Way is a second-generation French Caribbean artist (Martinique and Guadeloupe) born in Paris, Farah Way’s trajectory is rich and grounded in multiculturalism par excellence. Her artistic practices call upon her education in Photography in Paris and her degree in Fine Arts, which she attained in Martinique.
Setting off her career, Farah assisted renowned photographers in their Paris-based studios, simultaneously working as a freelance photographer.
Since her 2012 relocation to London, Farah has attended several photography conferences and continued working as a freelance photographer. Steadily acculturating to a British environment she moved to Brighton where she now resides and strives to find to her place as an artist.
Contextualizing her work within the current technological era of the persistent digitisation of art, Farah nurtures her expertise in digital photography and computer assisted art, even as she uses these mediums to critique these globally divided technological advances.
